Company Overview

Formed by its founder and CEO, David Hudgens, in 1980, Accu-Crete has evolved over the past quarter century and has firmly established itself as an industry leader in the multi-family concrete marketplace. With a footprint that covers the eastern half of the United States, Accu-Crete has completed more than 350 projects for myriad developer-builders and general contractors in the multi-family housing arena.

While the company has the capacity for larger projects, the vast majority of its work to date has been on contracts that fall within the range of $500,000 to $5,000,000. The company's philosophy has always been, and continues to be, to provide the highest quality work within its market segment, rather than seeking the largest possible jobs outside of that segment where the quality of its product might be compromised. The company prides itself on the quality of its work and can point to long-standing relationships with key crew leaders and customers to back this claim up.

Accu-Crete specializes in conventionally reinforced or post-tension slabs-on-grade, elevated (podium or platform) structures supporting wood or metal framing and parking structures. The company is equally comfortable doing foundations for pre-cast structures or cast-in-place work, and can do work on a traditional design-bid-build basis or on a design-build basis. Employing creative engineering solutions on its design-build projects, Accu-Crete has been able to successfully develop a strong niche and provide a competitive advantage to its customers in the very competitive multi-family housing market.

In its recent history, the company has sought to introduce technology to its business in the form of webcams, wireless connectivity at the worksite and SmartBoard© (www.smarttech.com) technology to promote collaboration between workers and managers. At present, Accu-Crete is poised to continue its solid performance and growth as it looks out into the future.
